Gemini Notebook tests Interactive Reports embedding mind maps, slides, quizzes and flashcards
testingcatalog · x · 2026-09-14
Google is nearing launch of Interactive Reports in Gemini Notebook (formerly NotebookLM). A longer-form report can embed on-demand artifacts—mind maps, slide decks, quizzes, and flashcards—via placeholders that users explicitly generate with an "Add" button. Created artifacts join the notebook while staying embedded in the report, so readers browse slides or learning materials without leaving the document. No official announcement or rollout date yet. The feature consolidates NotebookLM's scattered Studio outputs into a single presentation layer, aimed at students, educators, researchers, and explainer writers.
