Zurich becomes first Australian insurer to cut Tesla premiums over FSD's 7x lower crash rate

Zurich has become the first Australian insurer to recognize Tesla's FSD Supervised as reducing driving risk, passing the savings on as lower premiums for Tesla owners. Australian Teslas have driven over 132 million km on FSD, and safety data shows roughly 7x fewer major and minor collisions with FSD engaged. The author argues that insurers pricing risk with real money is the strongest endorsement of the safety data: FSD is turning better safety into lower ownership costs.
