ThreadShelf: local archive with semantic search for OpenRouter, LM Studio, AI Studio chats
Civil-Demand555 · reddit · 2026-09-13
A developer frustrated by unexportable, unsearchable chats scattered across OpenRouter, LM Studio, and Google AI Studio built ThreadShelf, now open source. It consolidates chats into one local archive with semantic and exact search, exposes an MCP interface, and includes a llama.cpp wrapper that lets old conversations continue locally or via OpenRouter (added after issues running Gemma in LM Studio). First public release: github.com/ChrystianSchutz/ThreadShelf.
