Meng To, the designer behind DesignCode, built StoryComet — an interactive kids' reading app — in three days using Claude's Fable 5.1 model. It packs 15 animated picture books in five languages with voiceovers, word highlighting, and tappable 3D scenes.
- Day 1: working prototype
- Day 2: nine more books, language switching, progress tracking, quizzes, collectible pins
- Day 3: polish, accounts, payments
Six books double as gentle vocabulary tutors (English/Spanish/French/Japanese/Chinese); the first three are free. He spent a few hundred dollars on 3D models while AI handled code and translation — one skilled person multiplied, not replaced.
