Sentry CEO's Minecraft Bot Now Walks Smoothly but Keeps Dying at Night
zeeg · x · 2026-09-12
Sentry CEO David Cramer (zeeg) shares progress on his AI-driven Minecraft bot: the walk is now smooth, but the bot keeps getting killed at night by drifters out in the open.
His next step is a "burrow" goal — when night falls with no home, the bot will dig into a riverbank and seal itself in, then unburrow at dawn. He's candid that the system is "still jank af."
