ChatGPT desktop app adds pets that track your chats and can start new ones

OpenAI announced a playful update to the ChatGPT desktop app: an on-screen pet that keeps track of your chats while you're away from the desktop, and can now even start a new chat when clicked. Users who prefer minimalism can pick Mini, which offers the same shortcuts and updates in a smaller footprint. Both options live in the desktop app settings.
