Tencent's Open-Source CubeSandbox v0.7.0 Adds Cross-Node Pause/Resume for AI Agent Isolation
dr_cintas · x · 2026-09-12
A developer recommends running code-executing or browser-driving AI agents inside CubeSandbox, Tencent's fully open-source, self-hosted MicroVM sandbox, to prevent a single bad command from wiping the host. The v0.7.0 release adds cross-node pause/resume (preview), multi-version coexistence so templates/snapshots survive upgrades, faster networking, and cleaner control-plane operations. The author reports it works well in hands-on testing.
