Cursor ships Annotate in design mode: agents take visual prompts via on-page markup
soleio · x · 2026-10-28
Cursor launched Annotate in design mode: users can now give agents visual prompts by selecting elements to edit, drawing directly on the page, and reviewing designs at different screen sizes.
Developer reactions were tongue-in-cheek — mamuso called it "'actually, not like that' as a service" — highlighting that visual markup addresses the inefficiency of describing design changes in plain text.
