mcp-ecc: Open-Source MCP Server Unifying Email, Calendars and Contacts Across Providers
karljsamuel · reddit · 2026-09-11
Developer releases mcp-ecc v0.6.0 (MIT), an open-source MCP server that exposes mail, calendar, contacts and accounts tools uniformly across Google Workspace, Microsoft 365/Outlook, Zoho, IMAP/SMTP, CalDAV and CardDAV — so MCP clients need no provider-specific integrations.
Key features:
- Email read/search/send/flag/delete, folder management, calendar CRUD and free/busy queries, contact management
- OAuth for Google/Microsoft/Zoho, multi-user multi-account support, per-user API keys
- Encrypted credential storage, SQLite or Cloudflare D1 backend, web admin UI
- stdio and HTTP transports; Docker/npm/source deployments
The author says provider paths were tested against real accounts, and this release focused on hiding provider differences (OAuth, message flags, calendar IDs, ETags) from the client.
