OpenAI's Thibault Sottiaux says demand for Astra is "really unprecedented" and the team is pulling every lever to keep up — but new Pro subscriptions may have to be paused if pressure continues, with existing users' service quality taking priority. Sam Altman confirmed the tradeoff: not ideal, but they will "prioritize great service for customers until we can get back on top of things."
