Devs Use Astra to Build Sim2Real Pipelines from Raw Multiview Video — and It Works
wavefnx · x · 2026-09-09
Inspired by @Lingxiao234, developer pablovelagomez1 ran a similar experiment using Astra to create a sim2real pipeline purely from multiview videos and robot actions, visualized in Rerun. Despite feeding it rough input ("pure slop"), the pipeline's output came surprisingly close to working. He credits the Rerun MCP for enabling a closed loop, which made the whole flow possible — another community data point in Astra's surging 3D/robotics capabilities.
