Chinese suppliers shipped parts for 5,000 Optimus robots, 15,000 targeted by year end

Per a supply chain report, Chinese suppliers have delivered enough components for 5,000 Tesla Optimus units, with preparations underway for 15,000 by year end. The author explains why this is visible at all: hands, actuators, and small components come out of China, and parts must be ordered and shipped before a robot exists — so the supply chain leaks production plans months in advance, the same way VIN sequences revealed Cybercab volumes pre-launch. Tesla hasn't demoed Optimus and likely won't until it ships.
