Robotics data company Lightwheel has open-sourced 100,000 hours of high-quality egocentric video spanning cleaning, assembly, construction and retail tasks, available on Hugging Face. On RoboPapers Ep. 102, CEO bgxc argued training data scales but evaluation doesn't: egocentric data is the most scalable way to train, simulation the only scalable way to test. The release splits into EgoSuite-Open100k (training) and RoboFinals (evaluation).
