Luke Wroblewski argues every AI product wrongly opens with "ask me anything," assuming users know what to ask. After upgrading Ask LukeW's retrieval to support time-based queries, he flipped the pattern:
- Daily, his latest tweets, articles, and file uploads are auto-compiled into a "what's Luke thinking about now" answer
- That answer sits above suggested questions, giving users something to read or respond to without asking anything
- The change targets AI's most common product problem: capability awareness
His broader thesis: skip the tools, show the outcome — start with an answer instead of a question.
