Wan2GP AMD Build Brings 6GB VRAM AI Video Generation to Radeon GPUs
cocktailpeanut · x · 2026-09-08
The Wan2GP tool now has an AMD GPU build on Pinokio, joining the existing NVIDIA version. It's a super-optimized Gradio UI for AI video creation targeting GPU-poor machines with as little as 6GB VRAM.
Key details:
- Supports Wan 2.1/2.2, Qwen, Hunyuan Video, LTX Video, Flux and more
- On Windows, works with all AMD dedicated GPUs from RDNA 2 to RDNA 4
- Pinokio shows 164 check-ins, mostly from low-spec machines with 8-16GB RAM and 2-8GB VRAM
- Maintained by 6Morpheus6, with recent commits on GPU detection and Strix Halo fixes
A practical option for local video generation without a high-end NVIDIA card.
