DIY Corelian architecture: a non-neural-network AI running on a robot

An indie developer, dissatisfied with neural networks' reliance on massive frozen weights and heavy memory use, designed the Corelian Architecture: a bottom-up cognitive system that leverages what computers are good at—persistent storage and multiprocessing. Sensory-level data feeds continuous thinking handled by multiple subprocesses called 'Minds', under five principles emphasizing sensory grounding, continuous processing, local computation, and continuous self-directed learning. Implemented on a robot named Corely, it showed some primitive intelligence, though hard to quantify. Full documentation is public.
