Codex designs a welded tube chair via CLI: annotates welds, runs DFM checks, gets a quote

Kenneth Cassel launched Dingcad, a free tool that turns a prompt into a Codex-driven CAD workflow. In the demo, Codex designed a welded chair of tubes and sheet metal entirely from the CLI: it generated a STEP file, annotated all welds, checked DFM rules throughout, then uploaded the design and got a manufacturing quote with a link to view it. A striking example of coding agents entering real engineering workflows.
