ScienceClaw Hackathon at MIT Media Lab to build decentralized AI agent collectives for science
ProfBuehlerMIT · x · 2026-10-23
The ScienceClaw Hackathon (Oct 30–Nov 1, 2026, MIT Media Lab), sponsored by NVIDIA, Anthropic, Formlabs, MIT Engineering and others, challenges 2–5 person teams to build working decentralized collectives of AI agents that solve real scientific and technical problems. Model- and framework-agnostic, it spans four challenge areas: decentralized infrastructure, real-world applications, physical agency, and open science. Teams must demo functioning systems with validated results, not just architectures.
