Robot control idea: local high-frequency model consuming latent predictions from a larger model
chris_j_paxton · x · 2026-09-05
The author sketches a layered robot-control architecture: keep a small local model running at 100Hz–1kHz, but have it consume latent-space predictions from a much larger model rather than having the big model emit control commands directly. A speculative take on hierarchical robot control.
