Dexmal's open-source VLA model DM0.5 lands in LeRobot, tops RoboColiseum
AdinaYakup · x · 2026-10-23
LeRobot now supports DM0.5, Dexmal's vision-language-action model for open-world robot control.
- Architecture: a 4B VLM backbone paired with a 680M flow-matching action expert, pretrained across 7 robot embodiments.
- Results: currently the top open-source model on the RoboColiseum leaderboard.
- Integration details: the LeRobot adapter preserves the OpenDM model path while using standard LeRobot datasets, training, checkpointing, and evaluation; the base config records a 14-dim state/action contract, with the core model supporting up to 32 dims.
- Get started: fine-tune on your own robot with --policy.path=lerobot/dm05base.
