Tesla's Cybercab — with no steering wheel or pedals — is now hauling real passengers in Austin, TX. Rider @niccruzpatane took a 30-minute, 4.7-mile ride on a busy Thursday night for just $9.62, and starting the next day at 5 PM anyone in Austin can hail one. The milestone marks Tesla's robotaxi moving from internal testing to public service: driverless operation with pricing well below conventional ride-hailing.
