Yacine: Precisely modeling a single actuator is a waste — randomize parameters with an RNN instead

yacineMTB · x · 2026-09-04

YacineMTB argues that spending ridiculous compute and wallclock time (both machine and human) to accurately model a single actuator or friction isn't worth it — you can just randomize over possible configurations with an RNN.

His explanation for why nobody does this: they simply can't write software fast enough.
