CoRL 2026 hosts first workshop on imperfect robotics data: failures, OOD, human surprises
RobobertoMM · x · 2026-09-04
CoRL 2026 will host "Oops, I Erred", the first workshop on imperfect robotics data, on November 12, 2026 in Austin, Texas.
- Focus: execution failures and near-misses, noisy or suboptimal demos, OOD events, and unexpected human behavior — data every lab produces but almost none document or reuse.
- Open questions: how to collect and curate it, which failures matter and how to label them, and what shared cross-lab infrastructure should look like.
- Format includes talks, panels, a collaboration session, posters, a community white-paper, plus plans for direct imperfect-data submissions and a "most hilarious failure" award.
