Raspberry Pi's SPOKE: an RP2040 disc with 27 capacitive touch pads that doubles as a MIDI controller

Raspberry Pi unveiled SPOKE, a CD-sized RP2040-powered touch controller with 27 capacitive copper pads around its rim, each tied to a GPIO pin, plus USB-C, a reset button and two Qwiic/STEMMA QT ports.
- Works out of the box as a MIDI controller: every pad plays a note (pentatonic scale by default), tunable via the onboard CircuitPython program
- Browser-based demos at spokeboard.com include audio visualisers and a Harmonic Table mapping 100 polygons to notes, with NeoPixel feedback on touch
- The expansion ports let you attach sensors and other components, at the cost of a couple of touch pads
