Astra builds cinematic 3D scenes end-to-end: skybox, lighting, shots — all from a few prompts
Dimillian · x · 2026-09-04
Developer Dimillian demoed GPT-6 Astra producing cinematic 3D content: apart from the first few prompts, Astra handled the skybox, cinematic lighting, shot angles, and video assets on its own.
He also asked Astra for storyboards comparing Blender and Unreal Engine renders, and the storyboards came out very good. His takeaway: Astra has a strong sense of what impressive cinematic content and 3D models should look like.
