Microsoft's FrontierTour: AI governance becomes everyone's problem as agents take action
donasarkar · x · 2026-10-23
Microsoft's Dona Sarkar shared three takeaways from this week's FrontierTour: (1) presenting is now performing — audiences prefer on-stage dramas over slides, with live demos building agents in Copilot Studio, fine-tuning in Microsoft Foundry, and managing rogue agents in Agent 365; (2) governance is about to become everybody's problem — once AI takes actions rather than just answering questions, organizations must know who's responsible, what agents can access, and when to intervene; (3) AI conversations are shifting from productivity to organizational design — from how one employee does more with less to how organizations operate when humans and agents collaborate.
