The author recalls stumbling on an open-source-adjacent project last year: a headband-style neural sensor (possibly named Elevate or OptiBrain) that collects the wearer's neural signals, which developers can train apps on.
For around $500 you could reportedly start building "telepathic" apps that use thought signals as input. The author is surprised almost nobody is talking about it.
