French official meets Musk as Tesla FSD moves to on-road testing ahead of EU approval

French official Philippe Tabarot says he had a constructive exchange with Elon Musk about Tesla's Full Self-Driving system. French authorities have worked closely with Tesla for months on technical adaptations to support its homologation, which will be decided at the EU level in the coming weeks. With Tesla providing two FSD-equipped vehicles, France now enters the on-road testing phase.
