Kunlun Tech chairman and CEO Fang Han appeared on CCTV Finance's Dialogue to discuss Chinese AI companies going global. He revealed the company's 2025 AI-related revenue is about RMB 2.7 billion, with AI products reaching nearly 100 million global users daily, supported by round-the-clock operations.
On AI short dramas, Kunlun's SkyProduction workbench, built on its in-house SkyReels video generation model, produces content at roughly 1/20 the cost of live-action—about RMB 100,000 per title—consuming 500–600 billion tokens daily. A finished drama can be translated into 10 languages in under 30 minutes, reaching a potential audience of nearly 6 billion. The show demoed generating interactive virtual scenes instantly from a single image, plus an end-to-end pipeline covering video, lyrics, composition, and vocals.
Fang argued Chinese AI companies "lead from the start," attributing the "affordable high-tech" label to model and engineering efficiency, and framed open collaboration as a "mass line" strategy. He also mentioned the Riemann-1.0 world action model connecting robotics with labs and drug discovery scenarios.
