DeepSeek is nearing a pre-IPO funding round valuing the company at approximately 500 billion yuan ($74 billion), according to the South China Morning Post. The round aims to raise about 50 billion yuan from investors including CATL, CPE, and Legend Capital. The startup plans to file for an IPO on Shanghai's Star Market by year-end, targeting a 2027 debut to fund increased capex, compute, and R&D.
