Weaviate Query Agent now explores your data's stats and filter values before searching
CShorten30 · x · 2026-08-19
Weaviate's Query Agent got a major update: improved filters and data understanding. Before searching, the agent explores what's actually in your collection, automatically learning all possible filter values plus the mean, median, min and max of numeric properties.
No need to manually describe your schema or hardcode filter options — you can ask things like "show products priced below average" or "filter by the most common category" and the agent already knows what those values look like in your data. The Query Agent runs agentic natural-language search over Weaviate Cloud collections; the free tier offers 250 ask or 1000 search queries per month.
