Founder's $20/month stack: Claude coding plus free SaaS runs a whole startup
clarashih · x · 2026-08-19
A widely-shared tweet lists an ultra-low-cost startup stack: Claude for coding ($20/mo), with Supabase (backend), Vercel (deploy), Stripe (payments, 2.9% per txn), GitHub, Resend (email), Clerk (auth), Cloudflare (DNS), PostHog, Sentry, Upstash Redis and Pinecone (vector DB) mostly free — total monthly cost $20 plus $12/year for a domain.
Clara Shih notes her project dearcc runs the same stack, swapping Supabase for Neon database, calling it a new era of efficiency for nonprofits.
