Beijing CoreNetic's Wheeled Humanoid Monte 02 Automates Lab Workflows

Beijing-based robotics company CoreNetic has deployed its wheeled humanoid robot, Monte 02, into real research workflows on national-level platforms.
Standing 1.6 meters tall and weighing around 100 kg, the robot can independently execute multi-step experimental sequences such as nucleic acid extraction prep and cytotoxicity assays. It navigates between instruments autonomously and features quick-swap end-effectors—including suction cups, two-finger grippers, and dexterous hands—allowing scientists to focus on high-level thinking rather than tedious, repetitive tasks.
