AI cybersecurity startup Corma announced a $60 million seed round led by Sequoia Capital.

The company is building foundation models specifically for defensive cybersecurity. Their core thesis is that while general AI capabilities in offensive security are growing exponentially, defensive capabilities are lagging, creating an inherent imbalance. Corma claims its foundation model has already far surpassed general-purpose frontier models on defensive tasks and is currently protecting Fortune 100 companies.
