pstAsiatech · x · 2026-08-10
Chinese AI chipmaker Cambricon's once-explosive growth slowed sharply in the second quarter as it contends with supply constraints and rising domestic competition.
The company posted revenue of 5.99 billion yuan ($888 million) in the first half of the year, up 108% year over year, while net profit excluding non-recurring items jumped 137% to 2.2 billion yuan. Despite robust profit figures, its breakneck expansion pace is decelerating.
