LangChain Launches Managed Deep Agents, Advocates for Managed Agent Platforms

LangChain founder Harrison Chase endorsed the view that managed agent platforms are the future of agent development.

The core argument is that future companies will be built around core agent harnesses, but productionizing them (durable execution, auth, streaming, sandboxes, memory, evals) is deceptively difficult and shouldn't be a company's differentiation. Chase announced the launch of LangChain's Managed Deep Agents to provide a unified foundation for building and deploying production agents.
