Vibe-coded iPhone Duo sniping bot built with Codex in 17 minutes, 41 tests passing

Developer xiaohu shared an iPhone Duo (iPhone dual-camera model) purchase-sniping bot built almost entirely with Codex in about 17 minutes. Screenshots show a surprisingly thorough spec: keep the preferred config instead of rotating on button unavailability, pre-store fallback plans (white 512GB, night-blue 256GB) with one-click takeover, act immediately on any option matching launch date and budget, and shorten refresh intervals to 2 seconds during the first 30 seconds of sales.
The agent also self-tested: 41 automated tests passing plus 37 more in simulated drills and real browser tests covering sale trigger, out-of-stock switching, refresh continuity, and duplicate-click prevention — verified live on both Apple's site and JD.com (login, first-party seller, quantity handling). Real checkout and payment remain unverified until launch. A vivid showcase of the conversational-requirement → agent-spec → self-test → live-test workflow.
