Claude Code Adds Cross-Session Messaging for Parallel Agents
dotey · x · 2026-08-08
Claude Code now allows sessions to message each other. Users can pull information from other conversations directly into the current session without having to re-explain the context.
The major breakthrough is autonomous inter-session communication. If multiple tasks are running in parallel and one session makes significant changes that affect another, it will automatically send a summary of the updates to the relevant session. This acts like a synchronization mechanism in collaborative development, preventing conflicts and keeping parallel tasks aligned.
