He categorizes the development of agents into several phases:
- Early Frameworks/Apps (Late 2022/Early 2023): Represented by LangChain, ChatGPT, and AutoGPT, which first started leveraging LLMs.
- Managed Agents: This is the next major trend. Managed agents bundle the harness and infrastructure together, allowing developers to simply provide business context, significantly lowering the barrier to building production-ready agents.
