xAI Launches Grok Build v1: Coding Agent with Plan Mode & Plugin Marketplace

xAI has officially released Grok Build v1, evolving it into a powerful coding agent.
Key features include:
- Plan Mode: For complex tasks, the model generates a structured plan first. All code edits are blocked until explicitly approved, with support for comments and rewrites.
- Skills & Plugins: Adapts to workflows via AGENTS.md, plugins, hooks, and MCP servers out of the box. A new plugin marketplace allows sharing capabilities across teams.
- Session Skillification: The /skillify command lets users capture any current working session and save it as a new reusable skill.
The tool is available for free and can be installed via a simple CLI command.
