Alibaba's Qwen APP Major Update: Adds Deep Research, Scheduled Tasks, and Office Assistant

Alibaba's Qwen APP has announced a major feature upgrade, introducing Deep Research, Scheduled Tasks, and an Office Assistant, alongside support for the latest flagship Qwen3.8-MAX model.
- Deep Research: Enhances complex reasoning and structured output based on deep thinking, capable of generating clear, structured weekly reports from raw materials and goals.
- Scheduled Tasks: Automates periodic workflows, allowing users to set times for the AI to automatically search for news, categorize emails, and deliver trend briefings.
- Office Assistant: Acts as a true cross-app task executor. It connects with memos, calendars, and emails, operates browsers to fetch info, and autonomously handles multi-step data cleaning and aggregation to deliver ready-to-use Office documents.
The update also brings an upgraded voice calling system for various daily scenarios and an Agent Hub covering logistics, finance, and local services.
