Analyst: Strong AI Demand Keeps Storage and Memory Prices High

Industry analyst Ben Bajarin stated after attending FMS (Future of Memory and Storage) that based on current industry discussions, storage and memory prices are not expected to drop anytime soon.

While he previously assumed prices were peaking, they now appear to be holding steady with normalizing margins. As demand continues to outstrip supply across nearly every vector—largely driven by AI—the hardware costs for computing infrastructure remain tightly constrained in the short term.
