Hermes Desktop adds in-app browser for AI agents to see and operate in real-time

NousResearch's Hermes Desktop has introduced a new in-app browser feature. Rather than acting as a simple embedded window, this browser allows the AI agent to directly control, view, and analyze the web pages the user is currently browsing.
The team demonstrated several typical workflows:
- Social Media Summaries: The agent can scroll through the user's X (Twitter) feed and summarize trending topics.
- Video Parsing & Coding: While watching a YouTube tutorial, users can ask the agent to pull transcripts, explain complex concepts from the video, or even directly implement the demonstrated code.
- Real-time Research: Users can prompt the agent to research open-source memory solutions for agents, open relevant links right in the browser, and review the content collaboratively.
