Dev Shares Codex Multi-Agent Setup: 12 Medium Agents Beat 4 Ultra
pvncher · x · 2026-08-03
A developer shared hands-on experience using the Codex multi-agent v2 setup. They noted that the architecture truly shines when you crank up the concurrency limit and prompt the system to split task lanes properly.
In their testing, running 12 medium-configured agents simultaneously managed to outperform the default setup of running 4 ultra-configured agents. The author plans to write a more in-depth piece on this multi-agent concurrent workflow soon.
