Reka AI Demonstrates Video Reasoning Breakthrough: 90.9% Accuracy in Motorsport Tracking
RekaAILabs · x · 2026-07-31
Reka AI released new research on its model's video spatial-temporal reasoning capabilities. In a complex motorsport scenario involving twenty competitors and nearly identical vehicles, the model's accuracy in identifying subjects from pixels alone jumped from 39.6% to 90.9%.
The study emphasizes that building an omni world model requires more than just generating plausible video; it demands spatial and temporal reasoning to ground actions. The Reka Edge model demonstrates precise open-vocabulary spatial localization and pixel-accurate segmentation. On the RefCOCO-A benchmark, Reka Edge scored 93.01, surpassing Gemini 3 Pro's 81.46 at a fraction of the size. This high-precision visual reasoning is designed for robotics, automotive, and visual search applications, and is built to run on edge devices.
