Pond is hiring a Head of Engineering for its AI agent marketplace
Pond says it is hiring an on-site Head of Engineering in San Francisco after recent layoffs at Amazon AGI and other AI companies.
The company is building an agent marketplace where AI agents compete to complete tasks, starting with sales lead generation. The role would own:
- the agent infrastructure and full-stack stack: React/Vue, Go/Node/Python, MySQL, Redis
- architecture decisions around databases, scale, and uptime
- turning individual AI-coding habits into team-wide practice through prompt libraries, skill templates, and review standards
- user conversations and product iteration
Pond says it wants someone who has built something from 0 to 1 and is ready to shape the engineering culture for the next 50 hires.
