A Reddit post questions whether AXIS is really a new Brazilian image model or just a product layer built on top of an existing open-source model.
The author says the company is marketing AXIS as the “first Brazilian AI image generation model,” but they could not find technical details about training, and suspects it may instead be a fine-tune, LoRA, or application layer on top of something like Krea 2.
