Claude Code adds a 200-call session-wide WebSearch cap
Version 2.1.212 introduces a default session-wide limit of 200 WebSearch calls. The poster says it interrupts daily workflow in Cowork, and they have not found a way to tune or work around it there.
The screenshot shows the changelog entry and indicates the limit is configurable in Claude Code via CLAUDECODEMAXWEBSEARCHESPERSESSION, with the goal of preventing runaway search loops.
