Claude Code Desktop 1.22209.0 removes the sidebar project filter but docs still mention it
ankitdotgg · ghdev · 2026-07-18
A Claude Code Desktop regression report says the sidebar’s project filter disappeared in version 1.22209.0 on macOS.
The menu still offers status, environment, grouping, and sorting, but there is no way to filter sessions to selected projects anymore. The reporter argues this is not intentional because the official docs still describe project filtering, prior releases exposed it, and the app’s local state no longer contains a project-filter field.
