Cursor’s rumored Composer 3 leak points to six variants and stronger agent coding

A leak suggests Cursor may soon ship Composer 3, reportedly under the codename “Vega.”
The rumored internal checkpoint is said to include:
- Fast mode
- Medium reasoning
- High reasoning
- XHigh reasoning
- Six internal model variants
- A public release possibly coming very soon
The leak also claims its coding and agent performance may land between GPT-5.4 and GPT-5.5, while keeping the usual Composer-style advantage of being cheap and fast.
